What God Does With Your Darkness | Isaiah 42:5-9

The darkness of depression. Addiction. A marriage gone cold. A phone call you didn't want to get. These things are real, and they can feel like they'll never end. But 700 years before Jesus was born, God already said exactly what he would do with that kind of darkness.

Isaiah 42:5-9 is a messianic prophecy. A promise about Jesus, made centuries before Bethlehem. And it gives us three things God does with the darkness in our lives: he reveals, he restores, and he renews.
